Considering where they get the snow from, it may or may not be a good idea. I mean, from the roads, which are salted, sanded, and will have numerous other contaminates, it wouldn’t be the best idea. The time required to set such an operation up, and have it be efficent, would be ineffective. To get a mass quantity of snow, and be able to dump it quickly, is hard. I mean, have you ever seen a dump truck unloading?

Well, at least here in the states, most counties have a “highway dept”, the majority of their vehicles being dump trucks, and (at least in my county) 2 payloaders.
use the payloaders to load the dumptrucks with snow, the dumptrucks supply the snow thrower.

Hello,
Yes the idea is brilliant but needs to be tested. My university professors always used to say that worst idea is that which is never presented. Therefore, I turelly admire that you have an idea and this is how new are things developed.
Thanks for sharing thoughts.

HHHmmmmm… That gives me an idea….
Imagine putting a hopper on the front of something like this, using dump trucks to keep it supplied while it sits stationary, and directing the chutes to throw the snow on a burning building…
Hey, it’s just a thought…
